Filing your FAFSA
You must file the FAFSA each year in order to receive a financial aid package from Texas Lutheran University. Certain aid is limited, and is awarded until funds are depleted. In order to ensure your consideration for such aid, you should file your FAFSA as soon as possible beginning October 1 each year.
To have your FAFSA information sent directly to TLU, enter Federal School Code 003641.
For the 2018-2019 award year, you will need your 2016 income tax information as well as your parents' 2016 income tax information to complete the FAFSA.
For the 2019-2020 award year, you will need your 2017 income tax information as well as your parents' 2017 income tax information to complete the FAFSA.
If this is your first time filing the FAFSA, you must apply for a FSA ID. Parents of dependent students must apply for a FSA ID as well in order to complete their portion of the FAFSA.
