TLU COVID-19 Update: June 1, 2020
June 1, 2020
The COVID-19 Planning and Response Committee is meeting daily but has transitioned to twice-weekly communications to campus on Mondays and Thursdays unless circumstances warrant additional communication.
- The President’s “Looking Ahead: Planning for Summer and Fall 2020” document has been updated. We have added dates in June and July for President Cottrell to host livestream events with the COVID-19 Work Team chairs for Academics, Health Services, Operations, and Student Activities & Events to provide the campus community with the latest on their planning for fall.
- In addition to CDC and NCAA resources, the COVID-19 Planning and Response Committee and the COVID-19 Work Teams are referencing a number of newly released resources for colleges and universities from the American College Health Association and EIIA. The Health Services Work Team is also meeting this week with local health department officials to discuss a variety of issues related to our reopening. The June 23 livestream with President Cottrell and Kristi Quiros, VP of Student Life & Learning and Health Services Chair, will provide an opportunity for further updates regarding campus-wide health services plans as we reopen.
